J.D. Program in English (News)

We congratulate Andrew Ojeda on being accepted to the Georgetown Law Study Abroad Summer Program in London. Andrew is a student in our first J.D. Program in English class. (On March 08, 2016)

Students were invited to attend the Annual Mid-Winter Meeting of the ABA Section of Labor and Employment Law.

During the month of February, students visited the Immigration Court, located in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. Last semester, also visited the U.S. District Court for Puerto Rico in Hato Rey and the Old Federal Courthouse Building in Old San Juan. They observed proceedings in the District Court and attended oral arguments held by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit in the Old Federal Courthouse Building. This semester students will once again attend oral arguments in March.

We congratulate Josalyn Ayuso, one of the students from the first class of our Juris Doctor program in English, on being offered a summer internship at Latino Justice-PRLDF's New York office.

Students from our J.D. Programs in English and Spanish became members of the Hispanic National Bar Association. The induction ceremony was held last November, at the U.S. District Court for Puerto Rico.
